New Delhi, March 14: His personal life is of interest to many. He has had two marriages end. Many claim he has been involved in numerous relationships. It was even known that he was going to tie the knot with a Bollywood actress. But he has always been different. He proved that again with his personal life. On March 13, at his pre-birthday meet and greet in Mumbai, Bollywood megastar Aamir Khan introduced his “special” friend Gauri Spratt to the media. Aamir’s acquaintance with Gauri is not new. It’s 25 years old. However, Aamir revealed that they have been in a relationship for 18 months.
Who is this Gauri? Originally a resident of Bangalore. She has spent most of her life there. Her mother, Rita Spratt, used to run a salon in Bangalore. According to her LinkedIn profile, Gauri studied at Blue Mountain School. In 2004, she completed a fashion course, FDA Styling and Photography, from the University of Arts, London. Currently, she also runs a B Blunt salon in Mumbai. She has a six-year-old child. Aamir told reporters at the press conference that Gauri is now working with his production house. The media was very curious about who Aamir was dating. Needless to say, everyone was silent when Aamir introduced his special friend to everyone that day. Aamir was laughing then, “Dekho kuch bhi pata nahi chalne diya maine tum logo ko (See, I didn’t let you guys know anything).” He told reporters that there is less media surveillance in Bangalore, and that is why Aamir used to go there to meet his girlfriend. Recently, Aamir has introduced Gauri to his children, family, and longtime friends Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
How has he been able to keep his relationship hidden from the public eye for so long? Aamir laughs again, “There is a little less focus on my house. That’s why you miss a lot of things.”
